Trend Alert: Not Your Grandma's Quilt

Unless your ASAP Rocky, who ironically enough showed up to the MET in a thrifted quilt that was donated by someone’s Grandma. High fashion is funny. It feels unrelatable especially when a rapper shows up to a high profile fashion event wearing a homemade granny quilt. But what’s ironic is we can look to high fashion for trend prediction. Yeah, none of us are likely to rock ASAP Rocky’s look. However, it’s in the details. We are likely to be willing to rock a subtle quilt stitching on our Madewell dress. We can see quilted fashion hitting the stores this fall and winter. Here’s a few of my favorite looks if you want to play along with this trend.
